About me

Hi, I'm Alexandra, the artist and printmaker behind MegaLilyDesign. I create original linocut prints from my studio in Brighton & Hove.

My inspiration comes from the natural world and the mystery of humankind. My prints can broadly be split into two main themes - Nature and Nurture.

 

My Nature prints include plants, flowers and seedheads as well as wildlife, from Teasels to Dandelion Clocks, Astrantia to Agapanthus, Hedgehogs to Wrens.

 

In the last couple of years I have created a few limited edition prints relating to Nurture and Connection. These editions are small and have mostly sold out now which is truly heart warming.  These pieces are very close to my heart and are grounded in my exploration of the Inner Child, I hope that the work resonates with you.

My prints are all originals, individually printed by me in my studio. My prints range from limited editions, reduction prints to smaller open editions, as it is important to me that everyone can access owning a piece of original artwork, regardless of budget. ​
